Recent Deaths
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Patrick (Pat) Gallagher Cuan Bhríde, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Kiltyclogher, who died peacefully on Sunday, January 15 at his residence.
Pat's remains reposed on Tuesday evening, January 17 at O'sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney where Funeral Prayers were said prior to the removal of the remains to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney.
His Funeral Mass and Service took place in the Church of the Holy Trinity on Wednesday morning, January 18 with burial afterwards on Wednesday afternoon taking place in Rossinver Cemetery. Sons Gerard and Joseph, daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Michael and Rory, his sister Catherine, his brothers John (Manorhamilton) and Andy, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, survive Pat.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Vincent Mchugh Drumnacross Glencar, who died peacefully in Our Lady's Hospital Manorhamilton.
Vincent's remains reposed in Our Lady's Hospital Chapel on Sunday evening, January 22 prior to their removal to St. Osnat's Church Glencar. His Funeral Mass and Service took place in St. Osnat's Church Glencar on Monday morning, January 23 with burial afterwards in Cloonlougher Cemetery.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Nellie Darcy (née Cullen) who died in London. Nellie is a sister of Brian Cullen Churchmount Mullies.
