Hot-shot Kelly edges rampant City in front on goal difference

The Best Western Sligo Southern Hotel Super League has City United just ahead on goal difference after a goal feast at the Bee Park Manorhamilton. Gareth Kelly hit four goals and on this form he is the one to catch for the leading scorer, Paddy Conlon and Damien Scanlon rounded off the scoring for City with Anthony Mc Donald netting twice and Patrick Clancy adding the third for Manor Rangers.
David Brush crashed home a hat trick along with strikes from Stuart Rutherford and Gerry Melly to give Strand Celtic victory at the Ray Mac Sharry complex over a battling Ballygawley Celtic who replied with a Dwayne Kelly hat trick and a cracker from Alan Taffe. Carbury were held to a draw by ten man Calry Bohs at Hazelwood Joseph Mitchell, Craig Marshall and Christy Ward were on the mark for Calry with Cas Clarke Brian Keaney and a a penalty from John Gaffney earning a rather fortunate point for Carbury.

In the Sligo Pallets Premier League Riverstown side Arrow Harps take over the leader board after hitting Merville United for four Aiden Harte netted twice with Frank Quinn and Kearin Harte insuring the points for Harps with David Blaine penalty and Kyle Kane replying for a shell shocked Merville.
Carton United thanks to a Cormac Coyne strike took a draw at home to Quayside Rovers who responded with a fine goal from Michael Conlon.
Kilglass Inishscrone United made the long journey to Gurteen and came away with an excellent win thanks to strikes from Stephen Conway, Shane Hargadon and John Boland, Celtic’s lone response was a Shane Regan strike.

CELTIC RESERVES EARLY LEADERS
Cleary Landscapes and Pitch Maintenance Division One: Strand Celtic Reserves are league leaders after goals from Declan Brennan, Alan Toolin and Gavin Jones secured victory at home to Boyle Celtic Reserves who replied with a lone strike from Ray Maughan.
