Emma gets call-up for Irish Under 19s
EMMA HANSBERRY has been selected for the Republic of Ireland U19 squad fixture against Austria in Vienna. Emma has played all her youth football with Strand Celtic FC and currently plays in the Womens National League for Castlebar Celtic. Emma has won league titles at U12, U14, U16 and U18 with Strand Celtic.
Emma has previously been capped for her country at schoolgirls and U17 levels. She also played in the FIFA Womens U17 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago where Ireland excelled and narrowly failed to reach the world cup semi finals.
Emma also plays football and gaelic for her School, the Ursuline Convent, and has played in the Gaynor Cup for Connacht.
The International Women's Under 19's team will participate in a friendly double header with the Austrian FA from the 20th – 23rd of February in Vienna.
