Cullen continues good form in Melbourne

Mary Cullen continued her build-up to the European championships in Barcelona later this year with an impressive victory in the prestigious IAAF Melbourne Track Classic 5,000m at Olympic Park, Melbourne, on Thursday last.
The Sligo runner came home a comfortable winner in a time of 15.22.75 with Lara Tamsett taking second place in 15.28.70.
Cullen, who has been training in Melbourne for the past two months, returns to Ireland for the Great Ireland Run on April 18th with the European Championships in Spain in July and the European cross country championships in Portugal in December her longterm objectives.
