Challenging day for all in the rain
CHALLENGING UNDERFOOT conditions did not deter young Athletes in the County Cross Country held in the Racecourse on Sunday.
The next event is the under 12 to under 18 Connacht Cross Country on Sat 5th Nov at 1pm in the Racecourse.
The Junior, Senior and Intermediate Championships will also be held, starting after the under ages.
Emmett Dunleavy will be running his first Connachts for many years and along with Thomas Kelly gives Sligo a good chance of an individual win.
If Lucy Brennan runs she would be a medal prospect along with Eimear O Brien and Sligo and North Sligo will be challenging for team medals at Senior and Intermediate. Meanwhile good luck to our Marathoners in next Weekends big event in Dublin.
