Dromahair Ladies
Our AGM was held on Sunday last, Dec 11th at 3pm in the Clubhouse,dromahair.
New officers were appointed for the 2012 season as follows: Siobhan Ballantine was appointed chairperson, Vice Chairperson is Eileen Clinton, Secretary is Mary Farrell, Assistant Secretary is Ruth Kelly, Treasurer is Maeve O'neill, Assistant Treasurer is Rosaleen Kelly, Registrar is Erin Farrell, PRO & Cultural Development Officer is Sinead Fowley, Assistant PRO is Liam Welsh, Childrens Officer is Lucina Dack, and the New Coaching Officer is Roisin Fowley. County Medals were presented to the under 12 team for their Under 12 Shield victory this year. Congratulations to Emer Clancy who received the Under 12 Player of the Year.
Congratulations also to Helen Welsh who received Under 14 Player of the Year and Niamh Kelly who received the Under 16 Player of the Year. Underage presentations were made to all under 8s and under 10s for their magnificent effort all year. Trainers were appointed for the coming year for all age groups. The evening ended with a wonderful slideshow of memories of the year gone by. A big thank you to Siobhan Ballantine for organising this and to Josephine Mcternan for all the photos. Thanks also to Sean Conlan who provided a fantastic slideshow.
Our annual club dinner dance takes place on Saturday, January 21st in Castledargan Hotel in Sligo. Tickets are 35 euro and will go on sale this week.
The Club Recognition Award presentation takes place next Sunday, Dec 18th at 3pm in Breaffy House, Castlebar.
