Bogus officials and labourers

 At the recent Tourism Roadshow Mr Paschal Mooney announced that he was stepping down as Chairman of Failte Ireland North West in order to retake his position in the Senate. Mr Mooney was appointed Senator by The Taoiseach in mid January and will be taking up the position with immediate effect. Gardai in Sligo have warned householders and in particular the elderly about bogus officials and labourers calling to homes in the area in attempts to defraud them of cash.
