Sligo couple bid for Eurotrip prize

The closing date for Eurotrip, an exciting new competition which affords two media-savvy adventurers the opportunity to have a free trip around Europe this Spring, is drawing close. One Sligo entry has already caught the attention of Eurotrip organisers. Best friends Rhona Gorevan and Fergus Farragher from Sligo town have known each other for the last six years and in Rhona's words: "There hasn't been a dull moment".
This fun-loving pair entered Eurotrip because they would love the opportunity to take three weeks off work and explore Europe.
Rhona says: "Nothing makes me happier than travelling to different countries, meeting new people and creating new memories. I am always up for a challenge ".

The two lucky winners will be provided with an itinerary, which will require them to cover no less than 16 countries in just 20 days – no small feat – and, if that wasn't enough, they will also be given 12 uniquely quirky and challenging tasks, designed to test their limits. Upon successful completion of the tasks, the cameras, laptops and GPS given to the contestants at the start of the trip to record their journey, will be theirs to keep as their final prize.
The two winners will also be asked to share their findings along the way online, by tweeting and face-booking each day, talking about the places they visit, the people they meet and how they dealt with the challenges they faced.
Closing date for entries is the 10th March at 5.00pm. All entrants must be over 18 and free to travel from the 1st to the 21st April.
