Motor Neurone Disease is a fatal muscle wasting illness which leaves the sufferer unable to do everyday things that we all take for granted. Walkin , talking, using hands and arms and eventually swallowing may become virtually impossible, while the mind and senses remain completely intact.
To help deal with the horror of the disease .I.M.N.D.A. strives to ensure that each person affected by the disease receives care and support ,whether it is the provision of specialised equipment ,or financial assistance towards home care, counselling and advice . The Association needs ongoing funding to continue to support sufferers and families to help ease the burden of this horrendous condition .
