F.F. Cumann elects officers

THE. A.G.M. of the Sean Lemass cumann Fianna Fai took place on Monday March 3rd.
The well attended meeting which included some new members elected the following Officer Board for 2010: Chairman, Seamus Kilgannon; Vice-Chairman, James Kelly; Secretary, Kathleen Vesey; Joint-Treasurers, Marie & Ronnie Kelly; Delegates, Kathleen Vesey, P.J. Cleary & Seamus Kilgannon; Hon. Presidents, Anne Monaghan & P.J. Cleary; P.R.O, Paddy Crowley.
DEPUTY Jimmy Devins T.D. attended and brought the meeting up to date on local and national issues. Councillor Jude Devins also addressed the meeting. The members congratulated Deputy Devins on his work in progressing the new Summerhill College Building Programme.
Tenders are going out in the next few weeks and building is expected to commence by May of this year. The meeting strongly backed Deputy Devins call for local contractors to be awarded this multi-million euro project.
