Enrolment night at secondary school
ENROLMENT NIGHT will take place in the Jesus and Mary Secondary School on Thursday March 11th from 6.30pm to 9pm. All future pupils and their parents and guardians are welcome to attend. PLAY: Troubled Bachelors, a three act play, had a wonderful run over the weekend to capacity audiences. The play was set in the rural setting of Tullabawn in 1970's and was based on three bachelors who were threatened with the loss of their homes by the local Council unless they married within a certain time.
The three bachelors were played by Michael McDonnell, Frank Barrett and Ciarán Connor. The prospective Brides were played by Marie Langan, Pauline Boland and Christina Rafter/Flynn. The three brides were hell bent on Matrimony and added a lot of jollity and humour to the bachelors in crisis.
The Castleconnor Amateur Drama Group would like to thank all those who helped in any way in this production, all those who sold tickets those who manned the car park and not forgetting the generous sponsors.
