Date for postponed Active Age Christmas party set

BINGO: This is now in full swing again! Please come along and support your local Community Centre – there is Bingo and the 200 Club Draw every Wednesday night at 9 pm. Come along, meet new people and old friends and have some fun. If you wish to join the MCR draw then talk to Gerry on a Wednesday night and support your community.
MCR PLAYGROUP: There are still a few vacancies – to register your child (minimum age 2yrs 10 mths) or for more information, contact Rita on 914 6512 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The children are currently planning activities for St Patrick's day.
MCR AFTERSCHOOL PROJECT: Places are still available in our Afterschool Project, which is for Primary School Age Children ranging in age from 4-12 years of age. Please contact Lisa or Lizzie on 91-46512 or mcrafterschool@yahoo.ie.
ACTIVE AGE: The group continues to meet on a Tuesday morning at 11.30 a.m. and new members are always welcome. Currently the group are enjoying curling, with photography commencing in two weeks, and also calligraphy is on the cards for the Spring. For further information, please ring the centre on 914 6512.
For those senior citizens living in the area, you will shortly be receiving an invitation to our re-scheduled party which was postponed at Christmas due to the bad weather. This is now taking place on Sunday March 21.
On Thursday March 11 the Minister for Older People and Health Promotion is holding a meeting in Sligo Park Hotel from 2-4p.m. If you are interested in attending or would like further information, please telephone the centre on 914 6512.
