Children's Christmas Shoebox Appeal
CAN YOU imagine your child waking up on Christmas morning thinking it was no different than any other day of the year, with no Christmas wishes and no presents? This is the reality that the world's poorest children in places like Armenia, Belarus, Croatia, and Ukraine face every year. But you can make a difference by simply making up a shoebox for the Children's Shoebox Appeal.
Shoeboxes can be made for boys and girls between the ages of 2-14. Some ideas for what to include in your shoebox are: Toothbrush, toothpaste, gloves, hat, scarves, pyjamas, wrapped soap, facecloths, dolls/ teddy bears, cars/trucks etc. For leaflets regarding the shoebox appeal please contact Catherine on 0719164714 or 0872518011 or visit www.samaritanspurse.ie. Shoeboxes have to be in by November 11th so as they can reach the children in time. So get packing!
