As Garda investigations continue, The Heritage Council has deplored the recent death of Conall, the golden eagle chick that died as a result of poisoning and was found on the Sligo/Leitrim border at Truskmore Mountain.

Maybe I'm getting old but I think it's so worrying about the way in which children, I suppose girls more than boys, seem to be being encouraged to grow up far too fast these days. I've read quite a lot in the media about this over the past few weeks and it really is concerning and shocking with regards to the influences that children are being subjected to.
