Murray joins list of withdrawals
Tuesday November 24 2009
Limerick goalkeeper Brian Murray is the latest player to withdraw from Justin McCarthy's squad.
The departure of Murray, an All-Star in 2007, means that just 10 of the 2009 squad now remain.
And the pressure is building on McCarthy, who has seen
Damien Reale, James Ryan, Wayne McNamara, Seamus Hickey, Brian Geary and Donal O'Grady walk away from the county set-up.
All have withdrawn their services in protest at McCarthy's decision to drop stalwarts Mark Foley, Niall Moran, Stephen Lucey, Donie Ryan and Andrew O'Shaughnessy from his squad.
