Gordon to sit out indefinitely
Tuesday February 09 2010
Down midfielder Dan Gordon is taking an indefinite break from inter-county football. Gordon has cited a lack of hunger and loss of form as the reasons for his decision.
He missed the Mourne men's victory in Newbridge on Sunday, and manager James McCartan is hoping to have him back "sooner rather than later".
Down will also be without Aidan Carr for this weekend's clash with Meath. Carr missed the Kildare match with a hamstring problem.
